The green facades are located within three area of this Ipswich Commercial Tower, these spaces allow light and air into the building foyer while providing a break out space away from the busy front.

 

Designed and installed by Innovative Rigging Solutions the green facades span up many 4m high posts and cover the plain faced wall and a free standing section from the roof to the garden wall on the end of the garden to provide a verticality and interest to the deep spaces. Tensile worked closely with the building contractor to integrate the stainless steel cable details with Innovative Rigging’s experienced team utilising knuckle booms and scissors lifts to complete the installation. Cissus antartica and Philodendron scandens was used to cover the 4mm stainless cable and the results only 6 months in have been astounding.
